


Peru shirt issued to Paolo Guerrero for the 2018 FIFA World Cup group stage clash against Australia. Game played in Sochi on June 26 and resulted in a 2:0 win for the Incas. Guerrero scored the second goal to secure the win in the last matchday for Peru at the Mundial in Russia. The Incas lost to France and Denmark and were knocked out of the competition. With 40 goals in 126 matches for his country since debuting at 20, Guerrero holds the honour of being the highest goalscorer for his national team. He has represented them at six Copas America and one World Cup. Forging his career in Germany, Guerrero started at giants Bayern Munich, before making his name at Hamburger SV, scoring 47 goals across eight Bundesliga seasons. With the Bavarians the prolific striker won two back to back domestic doubles (2005, 2006).
