


Ukraine shirt worn by Yevhen Konoplyanka in the 2012 UEFA European Championship group stage clash against Sweden. Game played in Kyiv on June 11 resulted in a 2:1 win for the co-hosts of the Euros. The midfielder played 90 minutes, gave the decisive assist to the legend Andriy Schevchenko who scored the winning goal and was substituted in extra time. Oleg Blohin's team, however, recorded two defeats to France and England and did not advance to the knockout stage. A full international for Ukraine from 2010 to 2023, Konoplyanka earned over 80 caps and scored 21 goals. He represented his nation in the 2012 and 2016 editions of the UEFA European Championship, and is a three-time Ukrainian Footballer of the Year winner. Konoplyanka began his professional career at Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk, where he made his debut in 2007 and featured in 211 matches across all competitions, scoring 45 goals and helping them to the 2015 UEFA Europa League Final.
