The "iron" defender Ivanov, nicknamed "Tunio", was in the starting line up and substituted at half time. Shirt is acquired from a British auction house. Trifon Ivanov made his senior debut for Bulgaria back in 1988, earning 76 caps and scoring 6 goals over a ten-year international career. He was part of the squad at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups. "Tunio" is three times champion of Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia (1989, 1990, 1992) and has won the League cup in 1989. He was voted Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1996.
