


Spain shirt worn by Andres Iniesta in the second half of the 2018 FIFA World Cup group stage clash against Portugal. The match between the Iberian neighbors was played in Sochi on June 15 and ended in a spectacular 3:3 draw, with Cristiano Ronaldo scoring a hat-trick. Iniesta remained on the field for 70 minutes, after which he was substitued by Thiago Alcantara. Considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time, Iniesta was lauded for his balance, ball control and agility in close spaces, combined with his skill, composure, and flair on the ball. Iniesta has spent most of his career at Barcelona, where he served as the captain for three seasons. With the Barcelona team, he won the Primera Division 9 times, the Spanish Super Cup 7 times, the Copa del Rey 6 times, the Champions League 4 times, the European Super Cup 3 times and the Club World Cup 3 times. He recorded 18 years and over 500 matches for Barcelona and Barcelona B. With the national team, Iniesta went on to make 131 appearances, scoring 13 goals. He won the 2008 and 2012 European Championships and the 2010 World Cup, scoring the winning goal against the Netherlands in the final.
