Italy shirt worn by the legendary Fabio Capello in the 1:1 draw to Bulgaria in an International friendly game played in Sofia on June 21, 1972. Hristo Bonev opened the score in the 42nd minute, and in the 50th minute, the substitute Giorgio Chinaglia equalized for the Italians. Along with Capello in the ranks of the "Squadra azzura" that day were some legendary names such as Pietro Anastasi, Franco Causio and Sandro Mazzola. Fabio Capello enjoyed a successful career as a footballer with Roma, Juventus and AC Milan. The midfielder made 332 appearances and 45 goals in Italy's Serie A, lifting the Scudetto three times with the Bianconeri (1972, 1973, 1975) and once with the Rossoneri (1979). Between 1972 and 1976, Capello was capped 32 times for his country, scoring 8 goals, and was part of the squad at the 1974 FIFA World Cup in Germany. And if his career as a player was considered to be successful, his spell as a manager was just remarkable. Don Fabio made his first steps as a coach in Milan's "Primavera" squad. His time came in June 1991 when Capello replaced none other but Arrigo Sacchi in the position of a head coach of the first team. And while the legacy was indeed heavy to carry on, Capello contained the pressure and took AC Milan to new heights. In five years with the giants from San Siro, Don Fabio won the Scudetto four times (1992, 1993, 1994, 1996), the Italian Super Cup three times (1992, 1993, 1994) and the Champions League (1994) and the European Super Cup (1994) one time each. In fact, in 1994, Capello won a historic "quadriple" with the Rossoneri. In addition to his success in Milan, Don Fabio led Real Madrid to winning two Primera Division titles - in 1997 and 2007. In 2001, he made history with AS Roma by winning their third scudetto. Capello won the Serie A two more times, in 2005 and 2006, this time with Juventus. However, in the aftermath of the "Calciopoli" scandal, both titles of the "Old Lady" were taken away.
