Bulgaria shirt worn by Rumyancho Goranov in the European qualifier against Northern Ireland (Euro'80). Game played in Sofia on November 29, 1978 and resulted in a 2:0 win for Ireland. Goranov swapped shirts with Pat Jennings after the game. Shirts comes from the personal collection of Tottenham's and Arsenal's legendary goalkeeper. Bulgaria finished fourth in their qualifying group with England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Denmark and did not advance to the tournament's finals. Goranov played mostly for Lokomotiv Sofia (245 games) and won the Bulgarian League title in 1977/1978. He earned 34 caps for the national team and participated in the 1974 FIFA World Cup Finals where he was the starting goalkeeper in 2 of the 3 games for his country. In 1978, Rumyancho Goranov was voted Bulgarian Footballer of the Year.
