Austria Wien shirt worn by Trifon Ivanov in a Bundesliga game played during the 1997/1998 season. The former Bulgarian International defender went on to make 13 appearances for the club from Franz Horr Stadion in the period July - December 1997. Ivanov won the Austrian League title and League cup with local rival Rapid, recording 53 games in the period 1995 - 1997, scoring 7 goals. He is also Cup Winners' Cup runner-up with the Austrian side. The "iron" defender Ivanov, nicknamed "Tunio", earned 76 caps for Bulgaria, scoring 6 goals over a ten-year international career. He was part of the squad at the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups. "Tunio" is three times champion of Bulgaria with CSKA Sofia (1989, 1990, 1992) and has won the League cup in 1989. He was voted Bulgarian Footballer of the Year in 1996.
