Juventus shirt issued to Alessandro Del Piero for the 2002/2003 Champions League Final against AC Milan. Game played at Old Trafford on May 28, 2003 resulted in a penalty shoot out drama which the Rossoneri won 3:2. The former Italian International striker Del Piero played full 120 minutes and scored his penalty, however, this proved insufficient for The Old Lady to claim the trophy as his fellow players Trezeguet, Zalayleta and Montero missed theirs. Del Piero spent his entire career playing at his beloved Juventus, to which he remained loyal even after the "Calciopoli" scandal broke out which led to Juventus's removal from the elite of Italian football. Del Piero recorded 19 seasons for the giant from Turin (478 games and 188 goals). The Juventus captain is a six-time Serie A champion and has also won the 1996 UEFA Champions League. Del Piero scored 27 goals in 97 matches for Italian national team between 1995 and 2007. He is a World champion from 2006 and hold a silver medal from the 2000 European Championship.
