The Brazilian-born striker Paulo Rink came on as a substitute in the 46th minute and swapped shirts after the game. He earned 13 caps representing Germany in the period 1998 - 2000. At club level, Rink spent his best years in football playing at BayArena for Bayer Leverkusen where he netted 29 goals in 88 games over 4 seasons.
