Stan The Man gathered local and international football legends for a charity game of football with all proceeds to be donated to organizations fighting cancer, with various beneficiaries including The Stiliyan Petrov Foundation, local healthcare facilities, and children grappling with the illness. Petrov is 4 times champion of Scotland with Celtic Glasgow (2001, 2002, 2004, 2006) and has won both the FA Cup (2001, 2004, 2005) and the League Cup (2000, 2001, 2006) on 3 occasions each. Petrov & Celtic are UEFA Cup runners-up to Porto in 2003. Stan has also won the Bulgarian League title with CSKA Sofia in 1997, adding to his record 2 more League Cups with "the reds" (1997, 1999). Petrov was voted Bulgarian Footballer of the Year award in 2003 and is Bulgaria's all-time most-capped player with 105 appearances for the side. He was part of the squad at the 2004 European championship in Portugal.
