Barcelona shirt worn by Julio Salinas. It comes from the personal collection of a Bulgarian Football Union delegate at the time and is believed to have been worn by the legendary Spaniard during Barca's 5:2 win over CSKA in a "Palma de Mallorca Cup" tie .The number on the back of the shirt has fallen off. Salinas was one of the most prolific goalscorers in Spanish football at the time. The Barcelona shirt is from the striker's first season at the "Blaugranas" - 1988/1989, in which he scored 26 goals in 49 matches in all competitions. In that period Salinas and co. faced CSKA three times and the striker scored on two of the occasions - on April 4 during the 4:2 victory in the first semi-final of the Cup Winners' Cup and on 10 August during the 5:2 victory of the Palma de Mallorca Cup. The Athletic Bilbao youngster was part of Johan Cruyff's great 'Dream Team' that dominated Spain and Europe in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Salinas is a four-time champion (1991, 1992, 1993, 1994), once winner of the Copa del Rey (1990) and twice of the Spanish Super Cup (1991, 1992). Side by side with Ballon d'Or winner Hristo Stoichkov, Julio won Barcelona's first ever European Champions Cup (1992), the Cup Winners' Cup (1989) and the European Super Cup (1992). The former Spain international went on to make 417 appearances with 152 goals in LaLiga. To his four championship titles with Barcelona, Salinas added two more – with his native Athletic Bilbao (1983, 1984). Apart from the Basques and the Catalans, Salinas also played for Atletico Madrid, Deportivo La Coruna, Sporting Gijon and Alaves.
