France shirt worn by Georghes Lech in the 1:2 loss to Bulgaria in a European Qualifier (1972). Game played in Sofia on December 4, 1971. The forward played full 90 minutes and swapped shirts after the game. Zhekov (47') and Mihailov (82') gave Bulgaria the lead, with Bernard Blanchet scoring the honorable goal for the French side shortly before the final whistle. Lech spent his entire career playing in France, scoring 117 goals in 379 Ligue 1 games between 1962 and 1979 for Lens, Sochaux and Reims. For ten years - between 1963 and 1973, he wore the shirt of the French national team and earned 35 caps in which the striker scored 7 goals. An interesting fact is that Lech made his International senior debut on October 26, 1963, at the age of 18, when he appeared as a subsitute in the 3:1 victory over Bulgaria.
