Gaziantepspor shirt worn by Georgi Ivanov in the Turkiye Super Lig during the 2005/2006 season. The Bulgarian striker went on to make 17 appearances for the side, scoring 2 goals during the first half of the campaign, before returning to "Georgi Asparuhov" stadium and put on the Levski shirt for the third time. Georgi Ivanov is a six-time Bulgarian league champion and four-time winner of the Bulgarian Cup. Top scorer of "A grupa" in 2001. Two-time winner of "Bulgarian Footballer of Year" (2000, 2001). With Levski Sofia, Georgi Ivanov recorded 238 matches and 135 goals in all tournaments, taking 4th place in Levski's all-time goalscorer list. His career abroad went to the French Stade Rennes, the Turkish Samsunspor and Gaziantepspor and the Croatian Rijeka. For the Bulgarian national team, he earned 34 caps and scored 4 goals. Ivanov was part of the squad at the 1998 FIFA World Cup Finals in France.
