

Scotland shirt worn by the great Gordon Strachan in a Euro'88 qualifier. Game played in Glasgow on September 10, 1986 and resulted in a goalless draw. Strachan is one of the legendary Scottish footballers, who made a name for himself with the teams of Aberdeen, Manchester United and Leeds United. A large part of his career was spent under the management of sir Alex Ferguson, with whom he won the Scottish title, the FA Cup and the European Super Cup with Aberdeen, and later the FA Cup with United. With the team from "Elland Road" Strachan became the champion of England in 1991/1992, the last season before the start of the "Premier League" era. He earned 50 caps for Scotland, scoring 5 goals. After the end of his active career, he turned to coaching. His most successful period was at Celtic, with which he won the Scottish title three times between 2005 and 2009. His first championship trophy with the "Clovers" came with the active participation of the legendary captain of the Bulgarian national team, Stiliyan Petrov.
