Bulgaria shirt issued to Dimitar Popov for the 1996 European Championship in England. The goalkeeper remained an unused substitute to Borislav Mihaylov in all three games. Bulgaria won against Romania, drew with Spain and conceded a defeat to France. Shirt was personally gifted by the player. In his career Popov played for Levski Sofia, Botev Plovdiv, Spartak Plovdiv, CSKA Sofia, Maritsa Plovdiv, Lokomotiv Sofia, Spartak Varna and El Paso Patriots in the USA. Popov earned 14 caps for the Bulgaria national football team in the period 1993 - 1996.
