Espanyol shirt worn by Velko Yotov in Primera division during the 1994/1995 season. Yotov played 16 games during the campaign, scoring once - in the 1:2 loss to Real Madrid. In total, the Levski youth player played 45 games and scored 15 goals for the Barcelona team. After his stay in Spain, the champion and two-time winner of the Bulgarian Cup with Levski crossed the ocean, landed in South America and became the first Bulgarian to play in the Argentine elite. For four years, Yotov played for the Newell's Old Boys team, for which he scored 35 goals in 106 games. He finished his career in the States, where he played for the Charleston Battery (2000-2001) and Atlanta Silverbacks (2002-2005). Yotov earned seven caps for the Bulgarian national team and was part of the squad that won the bronze medals at the USA'94.
